Experience your local park differently
A performance through Morden Hall Park
Imagine being guided through the vast grounds of the National Trust’s Morden Hall Park, led not by park rangers but by young dancers from south London.
For one afternoon only, a special kind of performance will take place. You are invited to cut across the long grassy meadows, walk through the columns of tall trees and watch the performance unfold.
Land has been created by three choreographers; Charlotte Spencer, Janine Harrington and Vanessa Cook, who have been working with 30 young people from south London. This new dance piece celebrates the individuality of each performer and their desire to move.
Commissioned by Siobhan Davies Dance for The Making Space youth programme, with support from Candoco Dance Company and in partnership with the National Trust.
